Vintage Design

Original wood carved vintage Lega passport mask from Democratic Republic of Congo. Aged traditional reflective white clay patina. These special passport masks were found in the rainforest region of the Bwami or Lega. They are symbols of the owner's rank within the society and represent moral or social values. They are traditionally used during initiation rites and conjunction with dance, poetry, and song, giving wisdom to members of the society.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
