Beautiful vintage Shiraz rug from the second half of the 20th century, entirely hand-knotted in wool on wool. This exquisite piece features intricate geometric and stylized designs in lovely colors. The field boasts a rich red background adorned with charming patterns of stylized flowers and animals in shades of orange, green, blue, white, and purple. A deep blue medallion frames a red center medallion. Corners surround the dark blue field with stylized designs. The white background border is embellished with a chain of stylized patterns in green, red, orange, and purple that encircle the entire rug.
