Ancient view of Kyoto, Shijio iron bridge is an original vintage albumen print, hand colored, on single cardboard: 26 x 34 cm. Realized between the 1880s and the early 1890s. The image on the front 21.5 x 27 cm. Caption in Italian, in ink hand-written. Rare documentation, in impressive and admirable historical pieces. Very good conditions. These photographs, made with a sublime technique for both printing and coloring, achieved enormous success so that the production, as a typology, remained unchanged for almost many years.
