Small Early 20th Century Checked Bronze Model 312 Cash Register from National Cash Register Co

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Remarkable little cash register of the American company "National Cash Register", a company which marketed for the first time this type of article from 1884. This model 312, manufactured and sold at the beginning of the 20th century, and used in France as Indicates the "Caisse" sign in the upper part, presents a glass display comprising 14 Recto-Verso price labels, thus visible both of the customer and the seller. The corresponding keys allow their lifting, and their uses lead to the emission of an authentic sound chime. This magnificent golden bronze object is chiseled with ornaments: pearl friezes, garlands and windings come to embellish on all sides. A white marble tablet is affixed above the Caisse drawer, which has 6 compartments dedicated to storage of parts and tickets. The whole rests on a wooden base.
Witness of another time, this cash register with a small dimensional will charm you with its vintage style and the delicacy of its refined decorations.

Excellent condition after catering in our workshop. Drawer, chime and operational keys, the accounting mechanism is to be revised.
