Vintage Design

A minimalist wall system inspired by the iconic 1960s designs of Preben Sorensen and Poul Cadovius. Its space-saving design makes it perfect for small apartments.
It’s designed as a home office solution. Simply close the doors to put work or study out of sight and maintain a tidy look in the living room or bedroom. The lockable desk allows you to store your laptop and documents in one place—always within reach and securely protected.
Made from teak wood and teak veneer—materials known for their warm color, durability, and longevity—it is built to last for many more decades.
Additionally, this shelving system is fully modular, offering a variety of configuration options to suit your needs. The assembly system is simple and intuitive, with shelves mounted on solid wood rails using brass hangers, or, for a cabinet, on metal pins.
The set includes:
a lockable desk: H: 45 / W: 75 / D: 36.5 cm (depth when fully opened: 74 cm)
2 shelves: W: 75 / D: 24 cm
2 teak montage rails, each 160 cm long
The wall unit has been upcycled through a thorough renovation, combining old and new parts to revive the shelving system. All the wood has been sanded down, coated with stain applied for a uniform look, and finished with layers of Danish oil. If necessary, damaged veneer is replaced to enhance the appearance. The lock comes from Italy, but it is an old lock that was originaly in the cabinet. The hardware has been polished.
