Royal Empire mantel clock / pendulum clock, fire-gilt, around 1805-1815, Paris Solid bronze, fire-gilded, Paris around 1805-1815, original French Empire from the first period. Depiction of a virgin with armor holding a mirror. An absolute eye catcher. Finely chiselled gold-plated bronze in the best quality. The movement has recently been overhauled by a master watchmaker. white enameled dial with Roman numerals.
