Rare pair of modernist lounge chairs, model Pinna, designed by architect and designer Yrjo Wiherheimo and Rudi Merz ca. 1970 for Korkeakosko Oy in Finland.
Fantastic chairs with an amazing minimalist shape.
They have a beech wood frame and black lacquered wooden seat and backrest. There's no glue used to assemble these chairs.
The chairs are in good condition with some normal traces of wear due to time and usage. Both chairs have a professionally repaired damage at the bottom of a leg (last picture).
