The 12 signs are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces, which folks believe that different sun signs of the zodiac present different characteristics and destiny and describe the circle of 12 divisions of celestial longitude that are centered upon the path of the sun, that have their origin in medieval Byzantine codices, when many ancient horoscopes were preserved.
