Mid Century adjustable white and chrome floor lamp by Goffredo Reggiani Itsly 1970s The space age white shade creates a warm and very beautiful light distribution . The height/length of the lamp can be adjusted with its extendable arm with a screw on the side of the arm . This design allows the lamp to extend over a seating area or a dining table and provide illumination without the need for a table or surface. The lamp requires an E26/27 (standard) The lamp is included and will be shipped with the lamp very good. About the Creator

Goffredo Reggiani

Not a lot of biographical information is available on the Italian lighting designer and entrepreneur Goffredo Reggiani, however it can be surmised that he was particularly active in the lighting sector during the 1950s throughout the 1970s.

Reggiani founded his eponymous lighting factory in Brianza, Italy, a region known for its tradition in industry. In his designs, Reggiani utilized mainly chrome, as well as opaline glass and teak, to create Space Age designs, such as sputnik style chandeliers, globe-shaped table lamps, and floor lamps with trumpet-like diffusers. During the 1970s, Reggiani developed the first range of low voltage halogen lamps in Europe.

Today, the company is still in operation, creating interior and exterior lighting for both the private and public sectors.
