Vintage Design

Very nice Louis 16 style sellette from the Napoleon 3 period. The top is made of white marble, the legs are connected by a spacer forming a top. The Louis 16 furniture is known for its return to antiquity and for its rigour as can be seen with the fluted legs, topped with medallions representing gilded flowers.
