Pair of Chinese Style Chairs. Late 19th Century Anglo-Chinese hardwood armchairs, The dished toprails above solid vase splats incised with foliage-filled cartouche reserves over drop-in seats and moulded serpentine rails within open arms on cabriole front legs incised with foliage-filled cartouches. Good quality Chinese chairs made for the English market are inspired by George I designs of the 1720’s. Dimensions: 57cm wide xx 54cm deep x 44cm seat height x 96cm high at the back. Condition: Good, nice colour and solid condition, the upholstered drop in seat pads are in good condition.
