Large Mid-Century Capodimonte porcelain "Romeo and Juliet", 1960s
Rare example, intact and in perfect condition.
Height 48 cm.
"Capodimonte Porcelain" owes its name to the hilly area of Naples of the same name, where in the first half of the eighteenth century King Charles of Bourbon and his wife Maria Amalia of Saxony founded the Royal Factory of Capodimonte.
