French Belle Epoque 18 Karat Yellow Gold Drapery Necklace with Pearls, 1890s

About This Piece

Necklace in 18 karat yellow gold, eagle head hallmark. Antique necklace, called drapery, it is formed of a thin convict mesh chain holding on the front 5 patterns, engraved with floral decorations, knots and garlands. 3 small pearly white baroque pearls embellish this decoration. The clasp is a spring ring.

Length : 40 cm, width of the chain : 1.4 mm, height of the central pattern : 20.7 mm, width : 19.5 mm, thickness : 1 mm. Diameter of the pearls : 2,5/3 mm approximately. Total weight of the jewel : 5,1 g approximately.

Authentic antique jewelry - French work from the 1900s. Our opinion : this antique necklace in gold and pearls dates from the Belle Epoque (1890-1915).
