Flutter II, aged brass sconce by Paul Matter Available in black burnt brass or black burnt brass with etched glass Total measure: 40” H x 48” W Globe to globe dimensions when fully opened: 95”’ Minimum 28” H x 34” W Maximum 60” H x 72” W The long rotating arms are attached to a vertical, wall-mounted spine that results in a minimalist yet oversized fixture. Flutter comes in three variations, each with two elongated arms that can be adjusted to wherever light is needed. They can be hung alone or with others to create a unique wall composition, as well as primary and secondary light. Paul Matter Paul Matter is a contemporary light design studio that explores light design by blending the traditional with the experimental, form with function, and detail with the ordinary. The longevity of the designs is ensured by combining timeless visual language with materials that refine with age. The studio works closely with master craftsmen, developing hand-crafted products, finished and assembled with great attention to detail, one piece at a time. Drawing from a rich palette, the materials used include aged brass, copper, stone, leather and blown glass.
