About This Piece

Emma's artwork is inspired by the Parisian luxury world of fashion, textures and colour. This blue tone artwork titled "Lagoon 05" works well on it's own or as a grouping. It comes framed in a beautiful champagne colour molding and ready to hang. "I work on a white surface, usually leaving the background pure, happily playing with the interaction of its texture with the paint. I create the colour by mixing paints, pigments, inks, playing with the paint dilution, exploiting its transparency effects, or its pigment accumulations. I try to emphasize the fluidity of the material, and look in the gesture for a balance between tension and slackening, concentration and spontaneity, in order to reach an equilibrium in the composition. The result is floating in a white space, like a calligraphic sign. The superimposition of its elements and the contrast between the density and the transparency give a sculptural dimension to the composition."

Delivery Details

A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
