About This Piece

Contemporary Design

The Earl model is a flexible light, convincing through its simple yet dynamic system. Twenty wooden 'pearls' are threaded on a cable and act as levels in order to adjust the illuminating object. A hook positions the light source in any desired position. This provides an easy method of adjusting the height and orientation, enabling a wide variety of implementation. The LED light source is embedded into the largest bead at the end of the thread. The silicone shade is pushed onto the bead without being fixated. Similar to a spherical joint, the silicone shade can be moved in different directions.
