Bernard Buffat is a ceramist whose work is atypical and full of poetry. This large decorative dish with birds is a typical piece of his production. It alternates touches of warm colors on a background dominated by a bright blue. It is decorated with a beautiful bird, placed in the middle of a plant and floral decoration. This ornamentation is unique in the production of the ceramist, it is of a great softness and an idealistic and dreamlike inspiration.
The ceramic is large, it is a unique piece signed with the initials of Bernard Buffat. It is a late work, after his collaboration with the Grange aux Potiers. The bowl is in perfect condition.
