Good conditions except for some yellow halos on the margins. Napoleon I visiting the battlefield of Eylau, East Prussia9 February 1807, in the aftermath of the bloody victory of the French over the Russians and Prussians. The Emperor, on a light horse, surrounded by doctors and marshals, his gaze full of compassion, extends his arm as if to bless the wounded. Another wounded enemy soldier kisses the Emperor's leg. Next to Napoleon, Marshal Murat, on a rearing black horse, looks like a personification of war
