Antique miniature bust of "The Smile of Reims", in original: "L´Ange au Sourire" or "Sourire de Reims"
This bronze represents the smiling angel of Reims. The Smiling of Reims is a sculpture created around 1250 on the facade of the cathedral of Reims.
Its name comes from the cheerful, restrained smile of the angel who is depicted.
Beautiful bronze work, nicely chiseled and gilded.
Signed by the artist at the side.
Positioned on a black and white marble base.
