This beautiful shotgun case on stand was made by the famous Gunmakers Boss & Co of London. Established in 1812 by Thomas Boss, Boss & Co is most famous for the the side-by-side and over-under shotguns built after 1891 – the year John Robertson took over the company.

The case is leather bound with brass protective corners, brass push button lock & key, the interior is lined with maroon/red baize, complete with makers label (Boss & Co 73, St James Street. London) the case also holds spare gun barrel cleaning brushed and rods.
