Vintage Design

Ebonize, partially bird’s-eye maple root veneer on solid Pinewood. Moulded Lions Masks with grisp rings. This so called lyre secretaire is the crowning of all European furniture Art of the Biedermeier period. Paw-feet and batons from solid beechwood, finely carved and gilded. Internal part architectural formed and mirrored. Columns with capitals and bases. (L-Sam-133). Wear consistent with age and use.
