Vintage Design

Imposing French cabinet or bookcase in Louis 14th style Solid beechwood, ebonized. Highly right angled body flanked with figures in the form of feminine masks on sweeping border. Frieze from acanthus leaves. Recessed fixtures from two glassed, wing- doors crested with Brass work and profiled cornice. The figures are market and of exceptionally high quality. The brass work from contre partie consists of raised leaf work. (O-Sam-134).
