19th Century Louis XVI Overmantel Mirror

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Louis XVI style trumeau mirror in rechampi wood and gilded stucco.
Its pediment is decorated with two garlands of flowers attached to a central ribbon knot topped by a basket of flowers.
The moulded frame of the mirror is decorated with a frieze of pearls and a ribbon wrapped with Acanthus leaves.
The mirror is bevelled and the mercury mirror has age stains.
Period: Second half of the 19th century.

Very good condition.
